Just to let everyone know, this right here is pretty much world's greatest dad.
His birthday was yesterday, and so this is a little post to celebrate his awesomeness! :)
(Um, he's the one on the right. The guy on the left is some dude from the 1600s.)
He's never afraid to try something new--like learning piano!! (Normally Sarah and Betsy teach him. :) It just goes to show that you're never too old to try new things! (Oops...did I say old?)
Dad
He never looks for praises
He's never one to boast
He just goes on quietly working
For those he loves the most
His dreams are seldom spoken
His wants are very few
And most of the time his worries
Will go unspoken too
He's there.... A firm foundation
Through all our storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold to
In times of stress and strife
A true friend we can turn to
When times are good or bad
One of our greatest blessings,
The man that we call Dad.
Happy Birthday, Dad! We love you to pieces and we're so grateful for you!
Hey you Medford kids! I LOVE that poem you wrote for your dad. Happy Birthday, Dan! (I enjoy your blog!)
