Easter Baptism and Potluck!

Sorry this is so belated...but our new Medford motto is officially "better late than never." But I have a perfectly legitamate excuse for being a week late--I'm having troubles uploading pictures. :-| I've literally been working on this ONE post for 3 days. :) Anyways...let's cut to the chase here, folks...

Easter this year was great. About 6 people were baptized, including Jameia, my new "little sister"! It was really cool to see so many people make a public profession of their new faith. Here are some of the better pictures of the baptism. (Yeah, they're not that great...I couldn't find the right setting for such low-light (and don't-you-dare-let-it-flash!) conditions. Sorry folks.)

Eric introduces the baptismal candidates.

Poor Mr. Wagner stayed in the pool for the entire sermon. Brr.

You can thank Daniel for the amazing photography here. Besides the beautiful lighting, notice where the *subject* is centered...like in the lower left side of the pic. Hmmm.

Talk about excited!

OK, now we're REALLY talking about excited.

Peter and Trent excited about eating. As usual.

Jeremiah enjoys (?) his cake

Julia and I act crazy...well, maybe just me. She's normally this way folks, super sweet and smiley. Trust me, I know. And yes, I'm almost as frequently crazy.

Man, we need some more sun. Talk about pale... ;) But hey, let's just say it was the camera's lighting.

Ooh. I'm not quite sure why I'm putting this up...it's not exactly flattering of either of us. haha

About half of the crowd. :) Taken after mostly everyone left.

"Someone who's 6 foot 5 should be able to take better pictures than that!" -Mrs. D ;)

I'm leaving you with this crazy picture. What's he up to, anyways? My guess is that he's yelling at Mrs. D for the insult.

That's it for Easter pics. Check out my blog (vaporinthewind2.blogspot.com) for pictures of Mom and Dad for their anniversary. And hey, this post was worth the wait, right? :)
